2024 Holiday Gift Card Deals and Specials

Gift card sales amount to billions of dollars during the holiday season. If fast-food and casual dining gift cards figure into your holiday strategy, it's the time of the year when many of them offer a deal or special of some sort to incentivize gift card purchases.

Most gift card deals offer a bonus card, which is essentially a coupon with an expiration but some give gift cards (which generally don't expire).

I've compiled a list of 2024 holiday gift card deals and specials below (as usual, I'll keep updating if/when I find more deals):

• Applebee's - Through January 1, 2025, get a $10 bonus card when you buy $50 in gift cards in-restaurant or online. The bonus card expires on March 2, 2025.
• Auntie Anne's - Through December 31, 2024, get a $5 reward code when you buy $25 in gift cards from the Auntie Anne's website. The reward code is good through January 31, 2025.
• Blaze Pizza - For a limited time, spend $25 on gift cards and get a $5 reward if you’re signed up for Blaze Rewards.
• Buffalo Wild Wings - Through December 31, 2024, get a $5 bonus card when you buy $25 in gift cards online or at a participating location. Bonus cards are good from January 1, 2025 through February 28, 2025.
• Carl's Jr. - Through December 25, 2024, get a $5 bonus gift card with any $25 gift card purchased online through the Carl's Jr. website.
• Chili's - Through December 31, 2024, get a $5 bonus card when you buy $50 in gift cards online through the Chili's website. The bonus card is good from January 1, 2025 through February 13, 2025.
• Cinnabon - Through December 31, 2024, get a $5 reward code when you buy $25 in gift cards from the Cinnabon website or at participating locations. The reward code is good for use from January 1, 2025 through March 31, 2025.
• Cold Stone Creamery - Through December 31, 2024, get a $15 bonus e-card when you buy $50 in gift cards online from the Cold Stone Creamery website. The bonus card is valid now through 2/28/25.
• Culver's - Through December 29, 2024, buy $40 in gift cards and get a $10 voucher. The voucher is good through February 28, 2025.
• Del Taco - Through December 26, 2024, buy $25 in gift cards and get a $5 bonus voucher. If you buy $40 in e-gift cards, you can get a $10 promotional credit. The $5 bonus voucher is valid in-restaurant only from January 31, 2025 to January 1, 2025, while the $10 promotional credit can be used from January 1, 2025 to January 31, 2025, on orders in the Del Yeah! Rewards App or the Del Taco website.
• Denny's - Through December 26, 2024, get a $5 bonus coupon when you buy a $25 gift card. The expiration date for the coupon is unclear.
• Hardee's - Through December 24, 2024, you can save 15% on a gift card purchase of $50 or more.
• IHOP - Through January 5, 2025, get a $5 bonus card with every $25 gift card purchase online or in-restaurant. The bonus card expires on February 25, 2025.
• Jersey Mike's - For a limited time, get a $5 gift card when you buy $25 in gift cards online from their website.
• Outback Steakhouse -  Through December 29, 2024, buy a $50 Outback gift card and get a $10 bonus card. Bonus cards are valid from January 1, 2025 through February 9, 2025.
• Panda Express - Through December 26, 2024, get an $8 bonus card when you buy $30+ in gift cards online from the Panda Express website. The bonus card expires on January 31, 2025.
• Panera - Through December 31, 2024, get a free $10 bonus card for every $50 in gift cards purchased. Bonus cards can be redeemed from January 1 - 31, 2025. Conversely, through December 10, 2024, you can get 15% off on bulk gift card purchases of $250 or more online.
• Qdoba - Through December 31, 2024, get a $10 digital bonus when you buy a $50+ gift card online through the Qdoba website or in-restaurant. The bonus is redeemable from January 1, 2025 through February 28, 2025.
• Red Robin - Through December 31, 2024, you can get a $10 Bonus Buck Reward when you purchase a $50 Red Robin gift card from participating Red Robin restaurants or online at redrobin.com. If you buy a $100 gift card, they'll give you a $25 Bonus Buck Reward and if you buy a $30 gift card, you'll get a $5 Bonus Buck Reward. Bonus Bucks Reward valid from January 1, 2025 to February 28, 2025.
• Shake Shack - Through December 25, 2024, you can get a $5 physical bonus card or e-bonus card. Bonus cards are good through March 17, 2025.
• Subway - Get a "free 6" sub" coupon for every $25 in gift cards purchased through December 31, 2024 (limit four per order). The coupons are good through January 31, 2025.
• Taco Bell - Through December 10, 2024, get a $10 e-bonus card when you buy a physical $50 gift card via the Taco Bell mobile app or website. The bonus card expires December 31, 2024, at 12AM PST.
• The Cheesecake Factory - Get a $15 eBonus card when you buy a $50 gift card through December 31, 2024. Bonus cards are good from January 1, 2025 through February 28, 2025.
