McDonald's Snack Wrap generally consists of a crispy-fried chicken tender, lettuce, shredded cheese, and sauce. It was discontinued nationally in 2016 but stuck around at some locations until 2020. However, it's available in some countries including Canada (pictured), the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
The fast-food chain teased a Snack Wrap return in late 2023 as part of a planned expansion of its McCrispy platform to wraps and chicken tenders (since they'll need the tenders to make the wrap unless they use cut-up McCrispy filets instead). Given the association, they'll likely be called "McCrispy Snack Wraps" and "McCrispy Tenders."
In recent years, rival fast-food chains, including Burger King, KFC, Carl's Jr./Hardee's, and more, have added snack wraps to the menu but usually on a limited-time basis (although Burger King has kept them on since last year and Arby's and Sonic currently offer them as well). Given that McDonald's is the market-share leader among fast-food chains, it'll be interesting to see how other chains will react once an actual launch date is announced.
