This promotion is an odd one from the US perspective, as none of the menu items really relate to the foods New York is known for (hot dogs, pizza, bagels, cheesecake, etc.). The takeaway here is that the point might just be to have a theme--whether it’s related or not.
The most interesting ingredient on the menu is the barbecue filling, which isn't just a barbecue sauce but rather a meat sauce that apparently contains beef, pork, and chicken.
