Chipotle Cooks Up New Chipotle Honey Chicken

Chipotle launches new Chipotle Honey Chicken as a limited-time protein option with a sweet heat taste profile. It is available for a limited time at Chipotle restaurants across North America (including here in the US) and Europe.

The new protein is inspired by the hot honey trend and features marinated grilled chicken seasoned with Mexican spices. The marinade features seared, smoked chipotle peppers and a touch of honey.

According to Chipotle, the new chicken dish was its "top performing limited-time offer in test markets. Chipotle Honey Chicken was previously tested in Nashville, TN, and Sacramento, CA.

For ease of ordering, Chipotle is featuring the "Most Popular Chipotle Honey Chicken Bowl" on the menu of the Chipotle app and website. The configuration includes: Chipotle Honey Chicken with white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, freshtomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce.
