Subway's Hot Honey sauce is available for a limited time and offers a combination of sweet honey paired with the spicy heat of cayenne and habanero pepper powder. Additional flavor is provided by spices such as garlic, onion, and cloves. The lineup includes two subs:
- Hot Honey Pepperoni sandwich - Pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and Hot Honey sauce on toasted Artisan Italian bread. While it's available, it will be joining Subway's limited-time $6.99 Meal of the Day menu as the Thursday Meal of the Day. On Thursday, you'll be able to get a six-inch Hot Honey Pepperoni sandwich, chips (or two cookies), and a 20-oz drink for $6.99 at participating locations (the fine print states that it costs more in Alaska, California, and Hawaii). You can upgrade the sandwich in the meal to a Footlong for $3 more.
- Hot Honey Chicken sandwich - Rotisserie-style chicken, melted Monterey Cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, Hot Honey sauce, Creamy Sriracha, and SubKrunch (Subway's exclusive "savory, crispy sandwich topping") on Artisan Italian bread.
Subway's Hot Honey sauce can also be added to any sandwich, wrap, or salad for no additional charge.
In addition to the new sandwiches and sauce, Subway now carries Celsius Sparkling Orange (a popular energy drink) nationwide.
Subway also continues to offer its limited-time $6.99 Footlong deal, where you can get any Footlong sub on the menu for $6.99 when ordering online through the Subway website or mobile app at participating locations.
