Taco Bell's Crispy Chicken Nuggets feature white-meat chicken marinated in zesty jalapeno buttermilk flavor, breaded with breadcrumbs and tortilla chips, and then deep-fried.
They will be available a la carte and in a combo. A la carte options include: Five Crispy Chicken Nuggets and one dipping sauce for a suggested price of $3.99, and 10 Crispy Chicken Nuggets and two dipping sauces for a suggested price of $6.99.
The Crispy Chicken Nuggets Combo includes either five or 10 chicken nuggets (with one or two dipping sauces) plus regular Nacho Fries, warm nacho cheese sauce, and a large fountain drink. The suggested price for the 5-piece combo is $5.99, and the 10-piece combo starts at $8.99.
Returning dipping sauces for the Crispy Chicken Nuggets include Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce ("the top-selected sauce for crispy chicken orders during the first run"), Bell Sauce, and Jalapeno Honey Mustard.
According to Taco Bell, during the initial launch of Crispy Chicken Nuggets last year (I tried them back then), almost one in six orders included Crispy Chicken Nuggets, and they sold out nationwide in under a week.
